I actually bucked the trend and didn't name my warthog that I'd had since pre-sear. Mainly I wanted to know when it got to the next phase (playful, hearty, elder, etc).

As it stands now, without a name, it's more distinctive.

Haha, that reminds me, My husband had a lizard who he named "Lord Fodder". He never got any higher than say level 7 and constantly died

I named my stalker "Minka" after the Porn Star.

What's wierd is that if you get rid of a pet (via the tamer) and get a new one - it keeps the old name. So, now my spider is Minka as well. I have no idea what the spider is evolved (eldar, dire, etc) since I didn't pay attention to the spider's name before I captured it.

One of the few gripes I have with the game. Would be nice to be able to get stats on your pet.

I never wanted a moa bird since i prefer the stalker but my friend james named his moa lunch i got some laughes from that
